With all the usual media drive programs and introductions suspended for the time being, our friends at Bentley decided to bring the launch of the new Flying Spur to the people originally scheduled to fly to the cars. Thus Rebecca had one in her driveway this week along with the 2020 GMC Acadia Denali. Sam got some quality time with the Audi e-Tron see how miles it can really get on a charge. Meanwhile Dan brought some balance this week with the wonderful little Toyota Yaris.
There’s more EV stuff in the news with the announcement that Honda will offer a couple of upcoming models based on the GM BEV3 architecture. The crew at Autocar in the UK has been testing a bunch of EVs and shares some real world range numbers that provide fascinating comparisons to the official ratings. Still on electrification, the Shelby GT350 seems like it is going away, but the Mach 1 Mustang is returning, probably as the expected hybrid.
With so many of us no longer commuting to work, a lot of vehicles are sitting mostly idle. To make sure it’s still in proper working order, Motor Trend has some tips for storing your car. If you still have to make payments on a car loan, automakers are doing what they can to help customers out there too.
