After a week off, we have an extended length show to make up for it. Dan drives a very expensive Ford F-150 and a sportier Acura MDX A-Spec. Sam goes from the not really a crossover Toyota C-HR to the ginormous Genesis G90. Then we dive into some discussion of sales and earnings, GM’s call for a national EV mandate in response to Trump administration moves to freeze fuel economy standards and cost cutting moves while profits are still reasonably healthy.  We also discuss Consumer Reports reliability data and answer listener questions including the Hyundai pickup truck. This week Dan marvels at the stunning build quality of the beautifully sculpted Infiniti Q60 coupe (something Tesla seems fundamentally incapable of accomplishing). In discussing the Volvo V90, Sam demonstrates why auto journalists love wagons so much (bring on the new V60 please!). Then the guys dive into Ford’s new product strategy and all of the upcoming hybrids, the refined new Ram 1500 and GM’s call for higher-octane gasoline. Finally, Dan has a chat with Zach Bowman. 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor

In episode 39 of the show, Dan and Sam discuss driving the second-generation Ford F-150 Raptor. Despite its visual presence and powerful engine, Sam was less enamored than Dan with the Ford GT for the off-road set. [portfolio_slideshow] Wheel Bearings has launched a Patreon.
